Safelite AutoGlass, the nation's largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has been recognized with a Columbus 2011 Consumers' Choice Award in the category of Auto Glass Repair and Replacement for the ninth consecutive year.

The Consumers' Choice Award, established in Canada in 1986, identifies and promotes business excellence utilizing a unique survey that asks consumers to choose the best of their city. Respondents are randomly selected from both the local business community and the general public. Based on the criteria of value, professionalism, service and any other issue they may wish to consider, respondents are asked to select the company that most merits the Consumers' Choice Award for customer satisfaction. The survey was conducted by Survey Sampling Internationals', a global leader in consumer based studies. This year marks the fourteenth anniversary of the Consumers' Choice Award in Columbus. Safelite AutoGlass offers world-class customer service every step of the way. Customers may schedule appointments online or through an easy 24/7 800 number. The contact center is staffed in the U.S., no outsourcing or automated recordings. Sophisticated technology integrates the contact center's software with insurance companies' data seamlessly to confirm coverage with Safelite's part and technician availability. Appointments are often scheduled within 24 hours. Email confirmations are provided as a single source of appointment details, insurance information and technician profiles. Highly qualified technicians perform the work with best-in-market tools and materials. These customer commitments make Safelite AutoGlass a natural choice for vehicle glass repair and replacement service. "Achieving customer delight is our top priority," said Tom Feeney, president and CEO of Safelite AutoGlass. "From the contact center when a customer schedules an appointment to our technicians who perform the job, we do our best to make the experience as positive as possible. Being recognized by Columbus' voters for the Consumers' Choice Award validates our efforts are being noticed and we thank the community for their support." About Safelite AutoGlass: Safelite AutoGlass, founded in 1947, is the nation's leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, providing mobile service to more than 95 percent of the U.S. population in all 50 states.
